Description
Fornazaric Winery is a historic winery with a commitment to harvesting all grapes by hand.
JAKOT is one of the grape varieties formerly known as TOKAJ Friulano.
It seems that it was named JAKOT by writing TOKAJ backwards because it lost the trial over the name of Hungarian Tokaj wine.
Hand-picked from 27-year-old vines, macerated at low temperatures for two days, then fermented and aged in barrels for one year. It is then aged for one year in stainless steel tanks. It is then bottled unfiltered and aged in the bottle for 3 years.
A greenish-yellow, dry white wine with a deep aroma of herbs and acacia and a full-bodied aftertaste.
Comment from a novice wine lover (2013 vintage)
This is delicious! ! This is a word.
It's refreshing and easy to drink, and the umami aftertaste is exquisitely balanced and delicious!
I think it's just that I got the silver award.
As with the 2013 Chardonnay, the winery's inventory is likely to run out soon.
That's what I'm worried about.
